Biometric recognition technologies with booming development have attracted more and more attentions from academia, industries and government agencies in recent years. IEEE Workshop on Biometric Recognition and its Application (BR&A 2013) will be held August 20-23 2013 at Beijing, China. The purpose is to promote international exchange of ideas in the fields and provide an opportunity for keeping abreast of the latest international developments. Novel papers are invited from both academic and industrial research institutions, describing original results, new technical implementations, or in-depth user studies, including but not limited to the following:

Authors are invited to submit papers (IEEE standard format, max 6 pages). The IEEE templates can be found at: http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting

The submission deadline is May 31^th 2013. All submissions should be written in English, the PDF file of your paper should be sent to: Bio_2013@163.com

All papers will be reviewed by the Program Committee, which will assess significance, originality, accuracy, and clarity. Workshop proceedings will be published in the proceedings of iThings'13 by IEEE Computer Society (EI indexed). Extended versions of selected papers will be considered for publication in several SCI-index international journals.
